I feel like isolating myself for some reason. I need to study 100% diligently and really hard for the college entrance exams if I want to get in Ateneo. It's gonna be tough. :(

Wish me luck. It's no joke anymore. I gotta focus.

• Baguio : April 29-May2 with maternal relatives
• Ateneo Art Workshop : myself. what a challenge. i feel excited but nervous.

healthy yet guilty

The menu I planned today is quite healthy but I doubt.

I did add a little healthy alternatives, like less sugar in French Toast, healthy granola for the parfait (I found a healthy recipe online hahaha) whole wheat spag for the pasta (Taste NOTHING like whole wheat lol)

Made it all this a.m. (for mom's bday) It was tiring! At least I didn't sweat much since it was early morning like 6am haha.

So Sleeepyyyy :| I'm gonna go eat somemore pasta :] For lunch. Hahaha.

Kidding aside, that was SO awkward, people might think I'm an insane girl :O Of course not, just wondering why my artistic ability isn't as consistent. Actually, looking back, I remember the first time a person taught me basic body proportions (it was Krystle I think) was when I was in grade 4. Wow. I will never ever post my old drawings they are horrifyingly ugly x)

My "timeline":

Grade 4. Basic body proportions, anime-ish art, started to write letters. Haha I miss those times :>

Grade 5. Gayle's BOX. It's a box where I put pieces of stationery (w/ text, I write there my everyday happenings) and lock it. A twist on a typical journal-diary notebook.

Grade 6. Fashion designing. As in. I was known for that before ;) Then I started watching Project Runway. Still watches :) Awesome show.

High 1. All - in - One and Updates on Life. The summer before this schoolyear started I already bought a journal, so I wrote everyday stuffies. Basically this "era" was full - on writing. No art at all. During that summer (my fave one so far) I learned a lot in CSS thingamajigs + HTML, also, started to get inclined w/ music.

High 2. Behind everything. I was struggling at first, but then I found my place, I did doodles at first - a lot of people I knew sort of copied it I think, ahhh, I don't know what ya call it :> Then transformed into psychedelic and abstract. Very productive year for me, and spent a lot on buying fineliners x) Although I balanced both art and writing. I did post on my blog and had Updates on Life : on with the journey so it was really a creative "era" :)

High 3. Chasing rainbows xo. More of writing, drawing wasn't really my forte at this point, mostly because I have been drained I guess. I mean last year I kept drawing, writing... non stop! I may need a break. Hahaha! So I usually write in my blog, and lately have been doing CSS themes again :) Not much, but it resembles my 1st year, I also am musically addicted at the moment. Keeps me soothed and optimistic about life. :)

hello, goodbye, so long.

Before I go all cheesy and like having a written speech, I'll just tell you what happened today.

We watched 17 Again! Yay :)Went to Shang w/ my folks (and I mean my mom, sis & bro) and my relatives (Jean + family). Walked around, I honestly am shocked I am not really that annoyed when I don't get to buy something. Although unlike awhile ago when I was picking my outfit I had a really hard time (wow, so weird, first time!) haha! Yesterday we also went to Shang (w/ my aunts) to find my mom's gift. Actually, it was really hard! I ended up purchasing a checkered blouse from Kamiseta (w/c cost P1199, split w/ sis) and called it a night. Hello, we walked for like 5 hours! Glad to know our dinner @ Green Tomato was yummy :) Gave me more energy to walk, walk, walk! The other stuff we found apparently had no stock (like the Crocs) so... hope she likes it! I think so, because as weird as it sounds whatever she likes, I like! Well not all, I dislike the loose blouse thingy. So preggy like, I only like the ones with the cut below the bust and accentuates the waist.

Okay back to what I was saying, we walked around...ate @ CPK, yum! :) had fun bonding w/ them, I'm kinda sick of just hanging out w/ my folks here. Superrr stuffed, then we watched at 6.55PM.

I LOLed the whole time. It was soooo funny! As in! And it's really an awesome movie 'cause it tackles w/ realistic events, although I am experiencing NONE of it. Hahaha :))

Zac Efron is super handsome to death! xD He's a really good actor I.M.O. :)

Then we are home.
And it is raining so hard.
Watching Lizzie McGuire movie, but not really attentive at it. I'm blogging!
BTW my eyebags are like, SO DEEP. Because I sleep really late.

Agenda for tomorrow:
Since I'm making breakfast for mum on her day (04.21 - I know, I'm really mabait, what a shocker!) I'm making the granola tomorrow (in advance) for the granola parfaits.

Menu Plan I made: (Breakfast)
Well since I'm not that good in the kitchen still (I tend to suck at times, sometimes I rock it xD) I gathered a few ideas from the net but here's what I will make:

Granola Parfait, French Toast (the classics :D), Whole Wheat Spaghetti w/ a light marinara sauce (tomato sauce)
Hopefully that would be successful x) I remember last year for Mothers' Day I made a lousy omelette :| Well for this menu I'm implementing HEALTHY alternatives :) lol I'm a health buff but definitely not all the time :]

PPS Realized that everything happens for a reason (so cliche xD) and that at the moment I am not drawing AT ALL doesn't really mean its the end of my artistic side, I'm not really "quitting", but I'm like on a vacation without it :D Doesn't feel that bad, it's not my fault I'm not that compelled to do practically anything creative at the moment, I may need a break :) Goodbye and thank you to the people in the past who opened my life to art and discovering a part of me - but now it's shutting down so...hopefully in the future someone better would further open my world to better things, better experiences... :)

I suck at English my goodness. No, it's because I made it under time pressure. Anyways, I did test myself on the ff. areas:
Analogy (One Word Approach)
Spelling (quite confusing although I am pretty good at it since birth)
Correct usage of words (practical much)
Identifying Errors (gah, this sucks!)

Well I hope I can keep up. This is just English! There's still the dreaded Mathematics which has Trigonometry & Statistics (which I LOATHE) and the complicated Science which has DIFFICULTY written all over it.

But I did borrow an antique ALGEBRA I book from my lola's house for some help in Math. Hmm I'll probably follow Kristin and read the damned thing hahaha :)) Wala lang, it might be more effective that drowning myself in my old HS notes although my notes are pretty neat :)

Except Gen Sci notes gah. I didn't learn anything valuable there AT ALL.

One more thing, I'm not quite familiar w/ general information on things, I do know some, more in the field of health & fitness (you couldn't imagine how much times I have surfed online about dieting, metabolism, BMI, foods that have certain vitamins & minerals that keep us healthy - fiber, carbs, fat, monounsaturated fats, polysaturated, CALORIES, kiloujoules...yeah keep it coming! and all the random stuff in that area.) and cooking of course and some commonly known facts since I really love reading almanacs, encyclopedias (ahem, unless they are boring, I like colorful ones :D) and the like.

I need help :( It's making me LAZY you know.
I don't want to fail Ateneo :(
